Similar adjectives could be used to describe country star Lee Kernaghan’s career, which ticked over into its 25th year in 2017.
Starting with The Outback Club in 1992, Kernaghan has released 16 studio albums, 12 of which have topped the ARIA country music charts.
Set to visit Launceston on April 29, Kernaghan admits he still has to pinch himself.
“It's the 25th anniversary of The Outback Club and we're coming to Tasmania to celebrate,” Kernaghan said.
“It's an epic milestone, I could never have believed in my wildest dream when I recorded Boys from the Bush that a quarter of a century later I’d be still touring and putting out singles and music videos and doing what I do today.
“For me I feel incredibly privileged to be able to write songs about my country, my people and our way of life.”
2017 has been a big year for the 52-year-old, with the release of a 25th anniversary album and an induction into the CMC Music Hall of Fame.
Kernaghan said the CMC Awards ceremony had been “an incredible night”.
“I was genuinely thrilled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and to hear the other artists, some of the greats of Australian country music, singing my songs on the night and paying tribute to those albums I’ve released.
“It just touched my heart and I’m still floating on it, I haven't quite come down yet.”
Kernaghan said the chance to catch up with Tasmanian fans was also an exciting prospect.
“On the Spirit of The Anzacs album we had the honour of recording a song about Teddy Sheean, so I look forward to performing that again in Tasmania.
“We're also going to be in the state for a little while making a music video.
“The Wolfe Brothers and I are making a new music video for a song called Damn Good Mates, and they said ‘there's no better place to make that music video than Tasmania’, so I'm coming down to do that with the boys.”
Lee Kernaghan will play alongside The Wolfe Brothers and Christie Lamb at Wrest Point Casino in Hobart on April 28 and Country Club Tasmania on April 29.
