In under-16 men, two South East Launceston Devils teams seem likely to move up after strong wins making a total of eight Division 1 teams.
In under-18 men, Dorset Eagles also seem like moving into Division 1 which is a fantastic result for a country association.
In the seniors, the Division 2 teams have been split into two further grades which has provided better competition. Eight out of the 12 games resulted in a points difference of less than 10 and two matches went to overtime.
In women’s Division 1, unbeaten Japara lead the way from Westside Trojans who comprehensively accounted for South East Launceston Devils. City of Launceston Rockets won against Launceston Saints.
The men's Division 1 is shaping up to be an exciting season with South East Launceston Devils and City Of Launceston Rockets both 4-1.
