The UTas Stadium show on Saturday, March 25, will see more than 30 of the best action sports athletes conduct a range of jumps, skits and tricks fresh from performing in Japan.
"We've got 15 stops in total in our regional tour across Australia," Nitro Circus founder-promoter Mike Porra said.
"We've been to Launceston before with the Crusty Demons show a couple of times but we've never been with Nitro Circus Live and we're excited about coming.”
Porra said Nitro Circus Live had travelled the world in the past seven years visiting about 70 countries.
"It's been incredible the reaction to the show which relies on hype and energy and excitement and adrenaline and the riders feeding off the energy of the crows - last weekend in Tokyo they were crazy and insane, yelling and screaming and clapping and that's the reaction we get everywhere."
He described Nitro Circus Live as a dangerous show tantamount to ''organised chaos".
"You will see them in the air doing tricks which if they don't land could be catastrophic – and when you have 10 riders in the air in a train, which only we do, it is highly spectacular but dangerous, choreographed riding which people watching understand.
"It looks like it is out of control but in fact everything in the show for the whole two hours or so is choreographed to the second - every jump, every trick, every move.
"It is freestyle motocross with the best FMX riders in the world doing their tricks off 75-foot jumps and 50-feet in the air with our full international show coming to Launceston – it is not a second-string show.
"You will see the top six, freestyle BMX riders in the world along with skaters and scooters with the most skilled guys and the biggest tricks that haven't been done in X Games or any of the big competitions and a whole range of contraptions doing all sorts of weird and wonderful things.
"You don't even need to be remotely interested in actions sports to enjoy the show - it is for everybody - mums, dads and kids and grandparents and we call it a modern-day, much cooler and more exciting Circus Soleil."
Porra said Nitro Circus Live will roll into Launceston with 19 B-Double trucks and a monstrous set-up which is bigger on the road in terms of the people and equipment involved than any rock and roll band in the world.
