Fifth-placed Spreyton had a convincing 84-run win over the previously third-placed Turners Beach and sent them tumbling out of the four.
The Eagles won the toss and batted on their ground and finished at 6/217.
The highlights were half centuries by Nicky Stubbs and Jeremy Jones with solid contributions from Bodie Murphy and Brad Green. Aaron Fennell with three wickets was the best of the Beach bowlers.
Opening batsmen Dale Gleeson and Joel Salter put on 41 runs before Gleeson was dismissed, but the batsmen couldn’t maintain the required run rate and they finished at 9/133. Peter Fulton and Green snared four wickets each for the Eagles.
Second-placed Forth survived against bottom-of-the-ladder Sassafras, winning by one wicket. Sassafras scored 9/136 with Matt Wall, Charles Ritchie and Ben Hawkes making starts but unable to go on.
Marcus Winters 5/27 was the star for Forth. At 9/124 the Pies were in deep trouble but Ryan George and Nick Cashion helped them limp over the line. Brendan Thorpe’s three scalps were crucial for the Red Dirters.
The Don Steamers cemented their first semi-final spot with an seven-wicket win over the East Ulverstone Crows. The Crows were all out for 155 with their best batsmen Charlie Smith, Raj Anand and Craig Kuns. Corey Plumbridge, Kade Pitchford and Nic Hamilton grabbed two wickets each for the Steamers.
In reply Jye Clayden and Pitchford hit 41 and Justin Johnson 37 in their win.
