The Chieftains finished 9-239 off their 40 overs thanks to another great knock from Nathan Balym with 73.
He and fellow opener Damian Woods (45) combined for a 97-run opening stand before coach Scott Driessen (38) and Simon Clay (20 not out) provided some lating hitting.
The Bulldogs best bowlers were captain Sam Graham with 3-42 and Adam Wesley 2-31.
In response, the visitors struggled for momentum and found themselves in a big hole at 6-81 a drinks.
Hadspen skipper Liam Reynolds was the main man with 3-22 as Nick Price (2-21) and Travis Crisp (2-24) also helped out.

The visitors were 3-13 in reply and the collapsed continued to be 7-54 off 16 overs before Kyle Strochnetter hit 29 to get them to 109.
Scott Davie ripped through the Tigers, picking up 4-8.
BEAUTY POINT bowler Adam Turner’s five-wicket-haul went a long way to helping his team defeat Trevallyn by 68 runs.
The Tamar Tigers were bowled out for 236 in the 39th over with Josh Allen (56) and Turner (44) the innings’ mainstays.
Luke Salmon led Trevallyn’s attack with 3-27.
Beauty Point captain Beau Hills (3-26) performed strongly with the new ball to have Trevallyn 2-21 before Stuart Brown (56) and captain-coach Glen Gleeson dug deep for half centuries to lift them to 3-103 when Gleeson fell in the 19th over.
And it crumbled from there with Trevallyn losing 7-62 to be dismissed for 168 in 34 overs.
Turner was the star with 5-36 to put Beauty Point back in the top four.
