“A few of the players are going down there to Hobart, but not an official capacity,” club coach Chris Smith said.
The Bulls were stripped of its place in this season’s decider after the state union was informed the side played an ineligible player.
Bulls reserve Luke Bryan flew in for the preliminary final last Saturday amid playing the season out in Victoria.
Smith had approached Eastern Suburbs before last week’s game to ask permission to play Bryan after an earlier email to the TRU failed to leave the club’s outbox.
“We still support rugby and the game of rugby in Tasmania,” Smith said.
