He won the award from ruckman Lachlan McFadzean and midfielder Jake Terry in a tight count last Saturday.
Pedley was previously named the best and fairest player in 2010 and is closing in on 100 games for Old Scotch.
He captained the Tasmanian under-23 side and won All-Australian selection in 2011; and is already a four-time Thistles premiership star – a tally Pedley is hoping to add to this September.
The reserves equivalent was this year taken out by Dylan Browning from his brother Chey.
Club great Geoff Price said the Browning brothers joined Old Scotch this season and that they have made an immediate impact.
‘”Despite playing a limited amount of games, the brothers consistency saw them amongst the votes every week they played,” Price said.
