Baldock booted 12 majors for the Hawks against Queenstown in the Darwin Football Association to reach the significant milestone in just 17 matches.
“It feels pretty good,” Baldock told Fairfax Media.
"It's not something I've been thinking about, but it's good to get it over with and go on to bigger and better things.
"I think I kicked four or five points in a row from set shots, and I just didn't think it was going to come, but I'm really happy to get it out of the way.”
Baldock’s next record to aim for is the all-time goals benchmark set by Deniliquin spearhead Trevor Sutton.
Sutton managed 249 goals in 1982.
Baldock has just one match plus finals to kick 50 majors if he is to become the greatest.
His highest tally this year came against Ridgey when he finished the match with a 22-goal haul.
