Budget weddings and celebrity weddings are both great bridal mag fodder, but it's pretty rare that both elements are present in in the one ceremony.
So, you can forgive the dropped jaws when Mila Kunis revealed she had purchased the wedding bands for her 2015 nuptials to Ashton Kutcher for just $US90 ($120) and $US100 ($133).
Oh, and she ordered them online.
The Bad Moms actress revealed her thrifty side in a Conan interview on Wednesday night.
"For our wedding bands, for when we got married, I decided to just get them off of Etsy," the 32-year-old said. "And so our wedding bands are from Etsy."
In her search for platinum bands, Kunis recalled being shocked by the prices at Tiffany and Co.
"I was like, 'They're how much? This is astronomical," she said. "So, I went on Etsy and I was like, '$90?' I was like, 'Buy now!' Ashton's was $100, so technically his wedding band was a little bit more expensive."
Host Conan O'Brien remarked he had "always loved the fact" that Kunis is "frugal".
"That's a nice way of saying 'cheap'," Kunis jokingly replied. "But, thanks."
While Kunis may have opted for weddings bands at the lower end of the market, the same cannot be said for Kutcher's choice of engagement ring.
The platinum ring has been widely estimated to contain a five carat diamond, placing it around the $345,000 mark.
"My engagement ring is beautiful, but I don't ever wear it," Kunis told Conan. "This ring, I'm like, 'It's $90!' It's great."
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were married last July, in a secret California ceremony.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in March, Kutcher, 38, revealed the extreme lengths the couple went to in order to make sure thier nuptials were private.
"We really didn't want helicopters at our wedding and it's a legitimate concern," he said. "So I was like posting things on social media that we were in different locations to avoid [people and noise], we didn't want to be screaming our vows at each other."
Kunis and Kutcher met on the set of That '70s Show, and started dating in April 2012.
The pair became engaged in February 2014 and welcomed a daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, in October of the same year.
In June, representatives of the couple revealed Kunis was pregnant with their second child.
