Detectives investigating the disappearance of Ben Plowright are turning to motorists who travelled on the Midland Highway on the night in question.

Mr Plowright was last seen about 9.30pm on Saturday, May 30, walking in the Perth area.
Detective Sergeant Lisa Heazlewood said that it was possible Mr Plowright had attempted to make his way from Perth to Launceston along the Midlands Highway, via the Breadalbane roundabout.
Police say they would like to speak to anyone travelling on the Midland Highway between Perth and Launceston on the night of May 30 between the hours of 9.30 and 11.30pm.
Mr Plowright was last seen wearing a light-coloured grey hooded jacket, skinny blue jeans and black runners with red shoe laces.
Anyone that may have seen a person fitting this description on the Midland Highway at the time is asked to make contact with the Launceston CIB on 6777 3915, police 131 444 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
