Titmus will fly out on Thursday to compete at the first of two Swimming Australia grand prix meetings at Canberra’s AIS Aquatic Centre on Friday and Saturday.
The event will feature the 38-strong Australian Dolphins team set for the 2015 Fina World Championships in Kazan, Russia come July, in a unique format which will feature the Japanese national and junior teams for this year’s World Junior Championships in Singapore in August.
The Australian and Japanese teams will come together in three teams to be led by Olympians Dawn Fraser, Mark Stockwell and Glenn Beringen.
It follows on from a successful month for Titmus, 14, who was named in the Australian World Junior Championship team, after winning three Australian titles and breaking six Tasmanian records as well at the Australian Age Swimming Championships.
She was also named in a 14-strong Australian swimming team for the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in September.
The second meeting will be in Townsville from June 18-21 at the Long Tan Memorial Pool.
