Of the four trials to be run so far this season, Mr Grant won the first two, with McGlashan's Mintie, judged the third and returned to competition on the weekend, with Fleetwood Dot, to claim his third win.
Last weekend's trial, at Hazelbrae, near Hagley, saw Malcolm Taylor claim second and third places in the open section, with Somerville Nell and Mocana Ed, respectively.
Mr Grant also finished fourth, with Fleetwood Queen.
He leads the consistency points tally with six points from Bernard McGlashan and Mocana Ice on four.
Mr Grant, with Fleetwood Dot, is also part of a three-dog tie for third place, with Malcolm Taylor, working Mocana Ed and Somerville Nell.
Competition at the Agfest trial runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 7, 8 and 9, in the novice, improver and open classes.
