Cure, who is the reigning points race world champion, won the Class 1 UCI points race on Saturday, scoring points in six of the eight sprints.
"It was a really tough race out there and I think I was a bit marked having the world champions jersey," Cure said.
"I tried to play that in my favour and I was really happy to come home with the gold."
Cure also won silver on Friday in a team pursuit.
