Tomorrow night in the women's competition at Elphin Stadium, it's a second versus fourth clash with cross-town rivals City of Launceston and Launceston Devils meeting, and a win for either side will virtually lock in a finals spot.
On Sunday, an equally important game between Hobart Phoenix and Clarence takes place at Hilliard Christian School.
For the loser it will be curtains; for the winner, a finals spot will remain a possibility.
In the men's division, top-of-the-ladder Hobart Phoenix takes on second-placed Hobart Grenadiers tomorrow at Lauderdale Primary School at 7pm.
With just one win separating the top four, this is a crucial game for both sides.
In the North, all eyes will be on the Elphin Sports Centre tomorrow night when arch-rivals Launceston Devils take on City of Launceston.
City holds fourth spot and is almost certainly guaranteed a finals place.

Tip-off is at 8.30pm, straight after the women's match.
In other matches, the Devils must back up on Sunday with a clash against BTAS High Performance at the Devonport Recreation Centre, at 3pm.
