Yesterday saw Nathan Richardson team up with his sons, Braydon, 20, and Josh, 18, for Longford Football Club in a gutsy effort against South Launceston at Youngtown Oval.
Although Longford went down in the fixture, the game marked Nathan's 150th appearance for the Tigers, having already racked up 300 games for South Launceston in previous years.
``It's not very often you get to do this and all of us have played nearly every game this season,'' Nathan said.
Nathan joined the Tigers in 2007 after a successful stint with South Launceston that included multiple premierships.
And Braydon said he and his brother have never looked back since joining up with their dad in the yellow and black guernsey.
``Running out with him is good fun, I enjoy that,'' Braydon said.
Despite the trio's close relationship, Nathan admitted he never worries about the game's physical nature and said the boys more than hold their own on the field.
``The boys probably need to put a bit a weight on, but they can handle themselves,'' he said.
``The only thing I tell them is that if I ever come down the line they better get out of my way because I'll run straight through them.''
