The 33-year-old, 268-game AFL veteran, is contracted to play five State League games plus finals this season with North.
He helped the Bombers to victories over Launceston and Lauderdale earlier in the season kicking five goals against the Blues and four against the Southern Bombers.
``I am looking forward to playing and I've really enjoyed my time playing at North Launceston,'' Tarrant said yesterday.
``It's a great club and a great bunch of blokes and I love coming down here and having a run around.
``The last couple of games I played in we had a win and the guys have had a couple of unlucky losses over the past month so I'm keen to help them turn the tables over the weekend and get a win.''
Tarrant said his fitness was good as he juggled football and work and he had played a couple of games in the strong Ovens-Murray League this season.
``I'm feeling really good and for my age it is probably a benefit not playing every week because I played a lot of football during my career and it suits me better,'' he said.
``I've always been quite naturally fit which is lucky and I still train in Melbourne and it doesn't take too long to get back into the swing of match practice.
``I've got a good block of games coming up with North Launceston and hopefully a couple of finals games.''
