Tarrant kicked five goals in North's victory over Launceston in round 2 and was supposed to play the following round against Clarence but pulled out with a strained calf muscle.
North Launceston coach Zane Littlejohn said Allan O'Sign would also make a long-awaited return from a hamstring strain he suffered in round 2.
The Bombers lose Will McBride, Lochlan Young, Bryton Mullins and Dakota Bannister to the Tassie Mariners.
``We want to bounce back after last week against Burnie and get a bit of respect back in the comp,'' Littlejohn said.
``I don't think we came with the right mindset and our work rate wasn't at the standard we want to be.''
LAUDERDALE will be without key forward Ben Halton and lost its Mariners representatives in Josh McGuiness, Phil Bellchambers and Nick Dodge.
But the Southern Bombers regained Alex Hevey, Alex Hill, Aden Johnston and Ryan Wiggins to strengthen the side.
LAUNCESTON recalled co-captain Brennan Savage for his first game since round 3 and regained Thomas Holmes.
The Blues travel to West Park to play a Burnie side that was back to its best last week and will again be without experienced defender Beau Green and Joe Krushka who has hamstring issues.
``Obviously the giant has been woken and North played them into a bit of form,'' Launceston coach Scott Stephens said.
``I've said to our boys to look forward to the challenge of playing a side that has made successive grand finals and they've still got the cattle.''
Burnie lost Ryan Gardner, Mitch Stanley and Brodie Knight but boasts a formidable line-up full of talent and experience.
WESTERN STORM meets Glenorchy in the match of the round in a second versus third clash.
The Storm added Kallum Baker, Billy Jack, Darren Thomas, Callum Mulder to a full-strength squad to face the Magpies.
Glenorchy lost Kurt Styles and its Mariners Mitchell Rainbird, Matt Joseph, Jordon Arnold, Josh Watts but named nine inclusions including Daniel Joseph.
``It's a big game and it will be good to test ourselves against a team that is going to play finals and be a contender,'' Western Storm coach Mitch Hills said.
``It's an important game in our block that we've identified that we want to win before we go away to the Foxtel Cup again.''
