Miller-Heidke, touring her most recent album O Vertigo!, which was released in March (her first independent release), will tour the country for a series of intimate regional shows with long-term collaborator Keir Nuttall on guitar and musical freak-genius John Rodgers on violin and piano.
She will perform in Launceston on Saturday, August 30.
'I feel like live performance has always been at the heart of what I do,'' Miller-Heidke said today.
``Often the test of a good song is if it works in a very stripped-back, acoustic mode.
``I love reinventing the songs in this way. I'm looking forward to bringing the new songs, as well as a mixture of older stuff, out far beyond the capital cities, especially places I've never played before.''
It will be her last tour this year before she heads overseas.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday.
