The Torns need to bounce back from last week's disappointing loss to Hobart and claim their second victory of the season.
Tornadoes coach Peta Sinclair described the defeat to the Lady Chargers as the toughest loss she had experienced since becoming involved with the club.
``We really wanted to win against our state rivals,'' she said.
``We put up 20-plus more shots than the Chargers so it was really frustrating.''
The Lady Sabres are yet to post a win on the board this season but WNBL standout and New Zealand squad member Michaela Cocks is likely to suit up against the Torns.
A versatile guard with a nice shooting touch, Cocks will be a key player for the Tornadoes to shut down in the back court.
The Sabres also boast players of the calibre of Hope Walker, Mikaela Dombkins and Michelle Joy who have all previously been involved in the WNBL.
The Tornadoes are at full strength with the return of forward Olivia Howard and will be looking to find some on-court chemistry to gel together and play more of a team game.
``We have some amazing talent in our team,'' Sinclair said.
``We saw a bit of that in last week's game with some outstanding individual performances, Lauren Mansfield shooting 33 points and having five steals and four assists and Alex Wilson racking up 30 points and 11 rebounds.
``We just need to pull it altogether in the game and really assert ourselves as a team and this week's training has been heavily focused on this.''
The Launceston Tornadoes will be joining Life Without Barriers for its Easter Fair tomorrow at Rocherlea to raise funds for their day support centre.
Life Without Barriers is a charitable organisation providing community-based support services to people with disabilities, mental illness, young people and families in crisis.
They will be special guests at the Torns' game against the Sandringham Lady Sabres.
