Aiden Blizzard, Harry Allaby, Steve Cazzulino and Ben Laughlin were delisted by Cricket Tasmania management this morning.
General Manager of Cricket Andrew Dykes said that while delisting players was never a nice thing to do, he said it was essential to make sure the state side continued to maintain the success it has achieved in recent seasons.
"All four players have been a part of and played valued roles for the Tigers squad during a successful period for Tasmanian cricket," Dykes said.
"I wish to thank them for all their commitment to the Tigers program and I wish them all the best for future endeavors, on and off the field."
He said that the delisting of Blizzard and Laughlin had no impact on their contact with Big Bash team Hobart Hurricanes.
