The 38-year-old opener batted through the innings scoring his century from 123 balls with 11 fours and a six.
Balym has played about eight seasons with Trevallyn after starting his career in NTCA cricket with Old Scotch and Riverside, followed by a TCL stint with Uni-Mowbray.
"I've pretty much always opened the batting throughout my career and last week's hundred was a long time coming," he said.
"I scored a hundred playing in the NTCA and one for Trevallyn about six years ago in a semi- final - but it's been a while between drinks really.
"I might have got a hundred last week but that means nothing this week and I need to try to do it again if I can.
"Longford are a very good team so it would be even sweeter if I could back it up and continue my form in the final's series."
Balym said he enjoyed the pressure of playing in big games such as finals and expected a tough contest in the qualifying final.
"Longford have beaten us twice and are a well-balanced side but on paper we're probably even so it's anyone's game this weekend."
He said his job as opener was to help get his side off to a good start and set up the innings.
"I'm there to face-off the new ball really and bat through the innings if I can."
