He has been married to Dianne for over 20 years and is a proud born and bred Tasmanian.
Tim is an active member of his local community and has been involved in the Lions Club for more than seven years. He has also assisted George Town Hospital Auxiliary for the last three years where he helps with fundraising for the local health facility.
As a passionate and committed Tasmanian, Tim is disappointed and disheartened that this once proud state has fallen away so sharply in recent times. A change is needed he says, and soon.
“It’s like we’ve been forgotten about and left behind down here,” Tim said.
“Our economy is a mess and the government doesn’t appear to have any plan for growth. Young Tasmanians are forced to leave and they may not ever come back.
“The other three parties – Liberals, Labor and the Greens – have continually failed the people of Tasmania. Palmer United’s success at last year’s federal election shows there is an appetite for change.
“Palmer United has a new way of thinking and it’s a party that’s on the up. Tasmania needs both of those things if we are to get our economy back on track.”
