We need to drive our economy and provide Tasmania’s youth with the employment and career options they currently leave to find.
As a small business owner/operator I understand that the only way small business flourishes and succeeds is in a strong economy. Small business employs thousands of Tasmanians but it will only continue to do so in an economy that supports investment in major industries. Our small communities will also continue to disappear if we don’t provide a strong economy for small businesses to operate in.
As a local councillor in Kingborough for the last two years I have been dismayed at the number of businesses and developments stymied by red and green tape. The most effective way for government to support development and growth is to get out of the way. The current amount of regulation is unnecessary and it is strangling the life out of our economy.
At thirty four with a commerce degree, business experience and local government experience behind me I believe I can play an important part in a Hodgman Liberal government. I look forward to your support on March 15
