A Tasmanian woman has tested positive to COVID-19 after returning from the United States.
Public health authorities said the woman, in her 40s, travelled via Sydney before arriving in Hobart on Monday.
She was in home quarantine, but has been admitted to the Fountainside Community Case Management Facility in Hobart.
Tasmanian health authorities have asked passengers on Monday's flight from Sydney to Hobart to isolate immediately. The affected flight is Jetstar JQ721, which arrived at 11.42am.

Hobart Airport has been listed as a low-risk exposure site. Anyone in the airport between 11.50am and 12.15pm should get tested if they develop symptoms.
It is the third recorded case of COVID-19 in Tasmania over the past month, including an 18-month-old baby who arrived from Melbourne and a man who planned to travel to Melbourne via Hobart from Brisbane.
