Bunnings to host vaccination clinics in Invermay, Devonport and Burnie

The clinic will be in the car parks of the Devonport outlet on Saturday, and Burnie and Invermay outlets on Sunday, each from 9am to 3pm.

Health Minister Jeremy Rockliff said it would be a convenient place to have clinics.

"If you're in any of these areas and can get to Bunnings, you could add a Pfizer jab to the 'to do' list," he said.

"We're very thankful to Bunnings for allowing our Public Health vaccination teams to operate these Pfizer clinics at its Devonport, Burnie and Invermay sites."

Tasmania's borders will reopen to all states - allowing fully vaccinated people to enter without restrictions - from December 15.

Bunnings managing director Mike Schneider said they were happy to help.

"We're really pleased to be supporting the Tasmanian Government with the rollout of community vaccinations ... by providing space in our carparks at our Launceston, Devonport and Burnie stores," he said.

"We hope it makes accessing vaccinations as easy as possible for the community and customers."

Community sausage sizzles are usually run on Saturday and Sunday at Bunnings outlets across Tasmania.

Tasmania was the first state to reintroduce the weekend Bunnings snag after they were cancelled during the COVID emergency period.
