
St Patrick's College is trying its hand at musical and what better choice than High School Musical.
High School Musical is a Disney institution but St Patrick's will bring the phenomenon to Launceston.
Production director Mallory Schipper said the show would prove a hit with audiences.

"High School Musical is a Disney classic, a family favourite and we wanted to embrace that and get as much of the community involved as possible," she said.
"Some of these students have never performed on this theatre so giving them this opportunity is a once in a lifetime experience."

The theatre production will be on for a week from April 28 to May 1 where the cast will play in front of 75 per cent of the Princess Theatre.
"We've been rehearsing since January and we did a summer intensive program during the summer holidays just to prepare our kids," Ms Schipper said.
It is on from April 28 to May 1 and tickets are available from the Theatre North website.
