
Scotch Oakburn College rebounded from last weekend's two-day loss by defeating St Patrick's College by 101 runs in the shorter format.
Taking on their Northern rivals on Saturday, Scotch piled on 8-256 off their 50 overs before restricting St Pats to 7-155 in reply.
Full of club cricketers from several Cricket North sides, Scotch's Oliver Hadley (Riverside CC) started things strong for the hosts, making 67 as he combined with Oliver Gibson to put on 79 for the fourth wicket.

Gibson wouldn't stop there as Liam Canny (Mowbray CC) joined him at the crease for a 97-run partnership with the latter making 52.
Gibson's run would come to an end on 80 at 6-235 with the tail pushing them to their end total.
Ryan Arnott was comfortably the pick of the bowlers with 3-26 with teammate Matthew Saunders the shining light with bat in hand, raising his bat for 50 before being dismissed at 6-139.
Opener Luke Pirlot grinded his way to 36 off 65 in a patient knock, while Mowbray talent Will Dakin (2-40) provided Scotch's best output with the ball.
