There was controversy at the finish of the Men’s 400m Handicap with the first runner across the line, Dan Lemoto being disqualified for interference near the finish line.

As a result of Lemoto’s disqualification, Lachlan Bonney was awarded the victory in front of Tim Potter and Harry Ashlin.
In the Women’s 400m Handicap, Laura McShane came off a mark of 22m to take the victory in a time of 55.17 with Eve Bell, who came from a mark of 24m in second palce.
Third place went to Sophia Fighera off 16m and back marker Samantha Lind off four metres in fourth place.
In the 70m Open Handicap, Keir Huxtable took out the final in a time of 8.10, with Grady Stretton finishing in second place and Jacob Camac in third place.
In the 300m Masters Handicap, Claire Thiele held on from the pushing back markers to claim the victory with Mark Nichols in second place and Luke Whitney filling out the podium.
