"Guys like Brandon Maynard, Darcy Layh, Brandon Leary and Jonty Sheppard are four guys who have really stood out."
Coach says: "Our expectation again is looking after our younger players and really providing an environment where they are going to excel.
"Our under-18 players are really strong this year and if we were to select a senior team, we could probably play up to 10 or 12 of those players because they are that good.
"Hopefully later in life they do have a crack at State League footy because there's probably a handful in there that should and would make it if they wanted to. It's all about providing that environment where they can keep developing.
OTHER PREVIEWS
"Our goal is to be competitive, there's no expectations on win-losses, we've lost a bit of experience but these young kids are bringing an excitement to the group and going off our practice game, it's going to be a different dynamic for us and it's pretty exciting for us.
"We've got a really good group who are all on the same page, committed and training really hard.
"In our team we've got some really good experience and then we've got these kids going through and I guess if we can work together towards this one goal then it's going to be some exciting football played for our team.
"We've basically said [during the break] to look after yourselves mentally, you've got to stay active.
"Football is probably one of the last things on people's minds so we haven't been too demanding on what they should or shouldn't be doing, we are just giving them the tools to remain mentally focused on themselves and when a time comes that we all know when footy is happening again, we will reconnect and go from there.
"Obviously it's just the standard social networking to keep in touch and all of that but it's really hard I suppose in this current climate what to do."
