Candles by Candlelight coordinator Danny Gibson said it’s a busy time for everyone.
“It’s all very exciting, it’s all coming together,” Mr Gibson said, “we’re looking forward to a wonderful evening.”
Performers Breanna Stuart and Dee Gillan said their excitement for the event far outweighs any nerves.
This year will be Ms Stuart’s first time singing on the Carols by Candlelight state, whereas it will be the second for Ms Gillan.
“It’s my first year with Encore, my first year out of school, and my first year performing with Carols, so it’s all very exciting,” Ms Stuart said.

Ms Gillan said she’s excited to perform again.
“I had the most incredible time last year, so I couldn’t miss it this year, it’s very special. I’m very excited. I can’t wait to see all of the little kids faces, and sing some carols – it’s just a really nice time,” Ms Gillan said.
“The excitement outweighs the nerves. Once you’re standing on the side of the stage about to go on, you do get those nerves, but once you step onto that stage and you see everyone’s faces, it makes it all worth it.”
David Gray of Vos Constructions said the company had been helping to put on the event for around 10 years.
“This is such an important event, and we’re more than happy to get behind it once again,” Mr Gray said, “We’ve got to remember the reason for the season.”
All funds raised from the event will go toward The Examiner’s Empty Stocking Appeal.
