The TasBash event encourages crews to get together to journey in jazzed up cars up the East coast of Tasmania and Matthew Richards and three mates made the trip in their bovine inspired 1973 Ford Transit.
Mr Richards, along with Kane Spencer, Matthew Bessel and Daniel Smith raised $22,133 towards Variety and the Australian children they support.
Mr Richards said they had done the trip in the past, and seeing how the money changed lives drove them in their fundraising efforts.
In other news:
"Seeing first hand last year where the money we raised goes to, and our visits to schools along the way in our crazy cars, made us even more determined this year to succeed," he said.
"The boys had been very busy fundraising throughout the year although we could not hold the fundraising events we had wanted to, due to covid.
"To take out the highest fundraising trophy and heart of the bash trophy was a great pat on the back for our hard work and a massive team effort."
Mr Richards said their sponsors had been "magnificent" and helped push them towards their impressive final total.
"One of the most important things is seeing where the money was going to go and how it was going to help children in need," he said.
