The man and woman, who cannot legally be named, appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Australian Federal Police allege a woman was deceived into coming to Australia and enslaved between October 5, 2018, and February 24, 2019.
A joint operation between the Australian Federal Police and Tasmania Police led to the arrest of a 43-year-old woman and 52-year-old man in the state's North in July.

Federal prosecutor Thomas Driver told the court the full brief was being compiled by the Australian Federal Police, but it wouldn't be ready for 12 weeks.
Defence barrister Roona Nida said she was seeking an adjournment under the circumstances.
Magistrate Ken Stanton bailed the man and woman to appear for plea on November 12.
