The Northern Clothes Market has been reborn as the Behind Closed Drawers market, organiser Rhea Gillie said.
“We want to provide the community with the opportunity to access great quality, pre-loved, vintage, upcycled items at a bargain price,” she said.
“We also want to reduce waste. So many clothes end up in landfill, so instead of getting rid of things people are able to maybe make some money out of it and do a good thing with.”'
Ms Gillie said more markets were planned for 2019.
To book a stall at a future market, visit the market’s Facebook page.
The market will take place from noon to 3pm on October 27 at the Salvation Army on Elizabeth Street.
Entry is free.
