Strong winds and rain are expected across Tasmania from tonight as a cold-front moves across the state.

The cold front, followed by a trough on Wednesday morning, is predicted to bring strong and gusty west to north northwesterly winds.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning for damaging winds of 50 to 60 km/h, with gusts of up to 100 km/h.
Potentially damaging winds are expected for the west of the state in the morning, following through to the south from late morning to the afternoon.
Showers and thunderstorms are also expected to extend statewide with the front.
Though receding for a mostly fine day Friday, BOM expects a second cold front for Saturday morning.
This front will bring further statewide showers before contracting to the west on Sunday.
Snowfall down to 300m is predicted for the west on Saturday evening, and 400 to 500m elsewhere in the state.
