Leisure and life coordinator Adam Page said the fair would be fun for all ages.
“There will be a dizzying array of stalls and activities,” Mr Page said.
The fair aims to raise funds for “state of the art” Virtual Forest for the home’s memory support unit.
The forest uses gaming technology to create a sensory experience for those living with dementia.
By using an interactive screen, users can use hand motions such as clapping or waving to interact with screen.
Some of the elements residents could interact with included ducklings, koi fish, butterflies, and boats.
Virtual Forests cost $3500.
The fair will take place on March 23 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm at the Aldersgate Community at Newnham.
