A motorcyclist has died after a car crashed into the rider at Magra on Sunday night.

Police said a 65-year-old Glenorchy man was reversing his Statesman from a residential driveway onto Black Hills Road about 8.25pm, when the crash occurred.
The Glenorchy man planned to travel towards New Norfolk when the front driver’s side of his car hit one of the two motorcyclists riding west-bound on Black Hills Road.
The Honda motorcycle involved in the crash was being ridden by a 35-year-old Herdsman Cove man.
Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the Herdsman Cove man, but he died at the scene.
The 65-year-old man was not physically injured during the crash.
Black Hills Road was closed for several hours while crash investigators and forensic officers examined the scene.
Tasmania Police investigator Sergeant Rod Carrick called on anyone who may have witnessed the crash or observed the motorcycles in the Herdsmans Coves area to contact police on 131 444.
