About 5.30pm, police and emergency services responded to a crash involving three vehicles on the Brooker Highway, near the Domain in the north bound lanes.
Police said no one was injured from the crash and that the road was closed for half an hour while the scene was cleared.
Just before 6.30pm, emergency services were called to truck roll-over on the Midland Highway at the Bridgewater roundabout.
Police say there were no injuries from the roll-over, but that it caused a “three-hour period of disruption” for motorists travelling along the highway.
Earlier in the day, one person was taken to Royal Hobart Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Back Tea Tree Road at Tea Tree, just south of Glen Rose Drive.
The road was closed for about 45 minutes while emergency services cleared the scene, before one lane was opened to traffic.
