The meet, which welcomes learn-to-swim students and others who want to try competitive swimming in a relaxed setting alongside club swimmers, is at the popular outdoor pool.
The program features 33m and 100m events and includes age categories from nine-and-under to 15-and-over.
Club registrar Lee-Anne Edmunds described the meet as a great chance to practise for school swimming carnivals in a fun environment.
“There are age events in all strokes ranging from one lap (33m) up to three laps (100m),” she said
“Medals will be presented to place-getters and all participants will receive a ribbon.
“It should be a fun, relaxed day.”
Details are on the Riverside Aquatic facebook page and entries (via email to info@riversideaquatic.com.au for non-club swimmers or the Swimming Tasmania website for club swimmers) close at 11pm on Tuesday, February 20.
Warm-up on Saturday is from 9am and the competition starts at 10am. Entries will not be taken on the day.
