The sale included 33 well-prepared rams and 710 sound five-year old merino ewes.
Tasmanian and mainland buyers attended the sales, with 22 rams sold.
Gilbert Taylor of St Johnstone bought the top-priced ram for $1500, while RBK Pitt & Partners, of Glen Dhu, were the top buyers, purchasing 10 lots.
Two Victorian merino studs also purchased rams, with this sale averaging $1200 per ram, Elders senior sales support officer Davina Sauerwald said.
“Strong buyer support and well prepared rams made for a very positive result,” she said.
The ewes went to Livestock Consulting Tasmania at $110 per head.
