They are all finalists in the RAW3! Young Talent on Stage.
The busking competition will host more than 10 different performers at Festivale on Saturday.
Solo musician Fiontan Cassidy, 19, of Launceston, said he hoped competing as a finalist would help him connect with the tight-knit local music scene.
“Any stage that you can get on is a valuable experience,” Cassidy said.
He will compete against fellow solo musician Amy Pegg, 21, of Wynyard, who was excited for the upcoming performance. “It’s a good opportunity to get my name out there.”
She described her music as a blend of pop, country and folk, “a bit like Taylor Swift”.
The busking competition will take place at the KPMG Stage at Festivale on Saturday between noon and 2.45pm.
The competitors will test their talent in front of three judges, with the winner and up to four runners-up starring in their own winner’s concert at the Earl Arts Centre on March 10.
