Former Hydro Tasmania director Chloe Munro AO was awarded for distinguished service to public administration. She was the director of Hydro from 2010 to 2012.
Mr John Eric Pierce AO was recognised for distinguished service to public administration and was chair of the electricity supply industry expert panel, which reviewed Tasmania's electricity industry from 2010 to 2012.
Dr Philip William Ladds AM was awarded for significant service to veterinary science. He spent three years in Launceston as the principal veterinary pathologist at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment from 1999 to 2002.
Professor Norman Ruthven Saunders AM was recognised for his significant service to medicine. From 1992 to 1999, Dr Saunders was the head of anatomy and physiology at the University of Tasmania and was a recipient of the Institution of Engineers (Tasmania) Award for Excellence.
Mr Jon Meredith Hickman AM was awarded for significant service to the community and one of his roles was as the deputy under-treasurer in the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance from 1987 to 1990.
