Dusk promises to bring urban conveniences together with communal spaces as the latest release in new Belconnen precinct Republic.
Designed to add an urban edge to Belconnen, communal spaces at Republic integrate public and private domains to create an urban area with a depth worth exploring.
Dusk is the epitome of the communal ethos. Level 13 of the building is exclusively given over to shared spaces providing valuable amenity. Water views from the terrace are just the beginning, with amenity including a residents' library, the lounge, gourmet chef's kitchen and dining room.
"It will be a hub. Not only will people live there and love it, but they can bring friends, and they'll be able to enjoy what's on offer," says lead agent Matt Nicholls. "It'll be a destination in Belconnen."
The one, two and three-bedroom homes at Dusk boast spectacular views from the lakeside location.
Floorplans by Fender Katsalidis Architects are designed individually to optimise the home's convenience. Interiors are filled with natural light, through designs which capitalise on northern sun.
The needs of a modern urban lifestyle have been well catered for, with apartments boasting Sonos CONNECT:AMP and Speakercraft in-ceiling speakers, and high quality noise insulation. Homes also feature double glazing, Smeg appliances and a choice of three interior colour schemes.
Part of the appeal of the precinct is its proximity to Belconnen's hotspots. Lake Ginninderra is just a one-minute walk away, while Westfield Belconnen is close, just an eight-minute walk.
A mix of amenity has been provided to ensure the precinct is as practical as it is pleasant. Among other things, the ground level plaza plays host to business space, bike hubs cafes, restaurants, shops and a delicatessen.
Dusk will bring a lot to the area, says Nicholls. "Belconnen has been crying out for a heart," he says. "Dusk will be a location where people will want not just to live but to hang out as well."
Construction is due to begin shortly.
