The 2017 Hawthorn team guernsey was kindly donated by the Tassie Hawks for The Examiner’s Empty Stocking Appeal.
A key signature is Hawthorn’s triple-premiership captain Luke Hodge.
Last week the Empty Stocking Appeal auctioned a signed cricket bat from Ricky Ponting.
The winning bid was $1050. All proceeds goes directly to the appeal.
The Empty Stocking Appeal supports four Northern charities – the Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul Society, the Benevolent Society and City Mission.
Already the appeal, which in its 109th year, has raised more than $55,000.
The initial goal was to raise $60,000 by December 25.
The reserve price for the Hawthorn jumper is set at $250. Bids in the silent auction will close December 20 at 5pm.
