With just 200 tickets up for grabs, the shop’s owner Jane Freeman said they had nearly sold out in 24 hours.
“I knew it would be big, but not that big that quick,” Ms Freeman said.
“My daughter put it on Facebook, messaged me and it had been on there a minute and I was already on the phone.”
On Wednesday afternoon, the $100 ticket package had already sold out.
“If he has time to do more at the end then we’ll do door sales, but that’s all we’ll be selling,” she said.
Ms Freeman said she had been working on getting the cup to Launceston for about a month. Riewoldt will be instore from 4pm. To book a spot, contact 6334 4402.
