At Sweetbrew on George Street, event organisers Samantha Denmead and Sheila Tivan wanted to say a big “thank you” to Kid I Am sponsors with an afternoon tea on November 21.
“Without our sponsors, this event could not go ahead,” Ms Tivan said. “So we want to say a big thanks to our sponsors for helping to make this happen.”
Ms Denmead said the event is set to be a success, if it is anything like last year.
“This year’s event will be on par with, if not bigger, than last year’s,” Ms Denmead said.
“We surveyed people leaving the event last year, and 99 per cent of people said they’d come back.”
Set to be held on December 2 at the Launceston Silverdome, the community event aims to give kids the opportunity to try a range of fun-filled activities they might not have come across before.
