The Tasmania Fire Service and Break O’Day Council information session will be held at Portland Hall in St Helens between 9am and 12pm on Sunday, October 22.
UPDATE 11.50am: The bushfire has been downgraded to Advice level.
EARLIER: A bushfire at Terryvale Road at Goshen on the East Coast is still at a Watch and Act alert after being downgraded from an Emergency Warning on Friday night.
On Saturday morning firefighters were considering if the fire can be brought back down to an Advice alert.
Firefighters were able to burn around properties to protect residents and houses in the area, with residents warned to be aware of heavy machinery and drive with headlights on and at low speed.
People not from the area were asked to stay away.
Tasmania Police closed Terryvale Road on Friday at the Tasman Highway near St Helens.
The bushfire has now burned trough more than 4600 hectares of thick bush with fire crews from across the East and North attending throughout the past few days.
