A Ravenswood man will stand trial accused of assaulting a pregnant woman.
Andrew John Woodhouse appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face the charge.
He pleaded not guilty through his lawyer, Claire Flockhart.
Details of the alleged assault were not heard in court.
Magistrate Simon Brown committed Mr Woodhouse to the Launceston Supreme Court for trial.
He was bailed to appear on December 7.
