Marcus Denis Mayne, 29 of Campbell Town, was arrested over the alleged armed robbery of the ANZ bank at Mowbray.
He is facing a string of charges including armed robbery, aggravated burglary, drug possession and assaulting, threatening and resisting police.

Appearing via video link from Risdon Prison, Mr Mayne did not enter pleas in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Monday.
He was remanded to reappear in person on October 26.
The court heard Mr Mayne plans to apply for bail on that date.
