The two-time reigning southern conference SEABL runners up posted on social media on Wednesday calling for “suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic” applicants to come forward.
It is unclear if Richard Dickel will seek to continue with his one-year-deal now expired.
The Torns have had three coaches in the past 12 months with Ben Rush lasting just four matches after replacing fan-favourite Reece Potter in January.
“The position is a 12-month contract that will include preparing and coaching the club in the 2018 women’s SEABL competition, developing and implementing the Tornadoes’ basketball in schools program, and working with other partners to develop community activities that contributes to the wider basketball community,” the post said.
