UTAS Lions have ended the Brisbane leg of the sevens nationals in style, two wins on Sunday ensuring their series-best fifth finish.

After surrendering first half leads on Saturday, the Tasmanians hit back to cause an upset 12-10 win.

Shanice Parker opened with a penalty try before Nicole Beck sealed a first win in 11 appearances with the game’s penultimate try.

The Lions would go on to win its bowl clash 14-5 over University of Adelaide on the back of first-half tries to Kiki Morgan and Beck.
